Atlantis Hotel

The Atlantis Hotel Where The Celebrities Stay And Play

Atlantis Hotel Paradise Island is where one might be able to get a Michael Jordan sighting, either on the golf course or in the Atlantis Hotel casino. If you get really lucky, his buddy Charles Barkley will be with him.

The Atlantis Hotel Paradise Island actually is made up of The Cove Atlantis, Atlantis Paradise Island Beach Tower, Atlantis Paradise Island Royal Towers, and Atlantis Paradise Coral Towers. All are located on the beach surrounded by tons of brilliantly bright white sand.

This Atlantis hotel resort is located 9.3 miles from the Nassau International Airport on Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas. This huge resort employs 6,000 local residents and is the major contributor to the island's economy. This Atlantis Hotel was built by South African Sol Kerzner, a well known hotel and casino king. Let us examine, in a little more detail, the differences between these four Atlantis hotels.

Cove Atlantis Paradise Island

By far and away the most expensive of the four above mentioned Atlantis hotels at $620 per night, not everyone can afford the elegance of this five star hotel.

Atlantis Paradise Island Beach Tower

This four star Atlantis hotel is the least expensive and the best bargain of the four, at $178 per night. It is the oldest and original building of Atlantis. No suites or upgraded rooms are offered here; each room is a cozy 300 square feet. Club Rush, a teenage night club, and Lazy River a tube ride, make this a hot spot for the young.

Atlantis Paradise Island Royal Towers

The second of the five star hotels at this tropical resort will run you $293 per night.

However, the Bridge Suite which is located in the span that connects the two Royal towers runs a little more, at $25,000 per night, has a five year waiting list and includes a cook and butler. This is where not only Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley hang out but also Tiger Woods, Oprah Winfrey, and Michael Jackson.

Atlantis Paradise Island Coral Towers

Another gorgeous four star Atlantis hotel rounds out the list, at only $215 per night. This Atlantis Hotel used to be known as the Britannia Beach Hotel. Boasting a more family friendly environment, the very popular Discovery Kids Adventure Camp is located here. Beautiful fountains, skylights, and marine-life sculptures are scattered throughout its Coral Lounge and Atrium lobby.

Happy star gazing, at the Atlantis Hotel!
